Hermosa has supplied five New York State Thruway Authority projects utilizing special T-Pole bolted steel structures to support dynamic message signs [DMS]. These sign structures provide detailed ship’s ladders (stairs) to access platforms which allow maintenance personnel to access the DMS to provide easy maintenance.
These structures are nearly entirely bolted and utilize over 1000 high strength galvanized fasteners each, and were shop assembled to provide cost effectiveness and efficient erection times.
These projects are part of the NYSTA Intelligent Transportation System.
